You may be eligible to receive enhanced rebates that cover up to 100% of your home upgrade costs.
Heat pumps - Up to $16,000
Heat pump water heater - Up to $3,500
Electric service upgrade - Up to $5,000
Insulation (Income levels 1 and 2) - Up to $5,500
Windows and doors (Income levels 1 and 2) - Up to $9,500

Get up to $4,000 for installing a heat pump
You could be eligible for up to $4,000 in rebates for replacing your current electric heating system with a heat pump.
Unlike other heating and cooling systems, which convert fuel or electricity directly into heat, a heat pump moves heat from one place to another. This makes heat pumps more efficient than an electric furnace or baseboard heaters and a great electrification opportunity. Switch from oil or propane to natural gas and replace your oil or propane primary space heating system with an eligible ENERGY STAR® high-efficiency natural gas furnace, boiler or combination heating and hot water system.
You could get up to $150 in rebates1 if you have your appliances serviced by a licensed gas contractor. Annual servicing helps maintain the life expectancy of your gas appliances and helps to ensure they're operating safely and efficiently. Additionally, most appliance manufacturers require regular servicing to maintain appliance warranties.

Replace your existing system with a high-efficiency model.
Income-qualified customers who upgrade their electric water heating system to an electric heat pump water heater may be eligible for a $2,500 rebate on an eligible model. Providing income-qualified customers with enhanced rebates on high-efficiency upgrades is one of the ways we support all customers in their efforts to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
Note: to qualify for this rebate your current water heater must be a standard electric storage tank model. If switching from another energy source you may be eligible for rebates through our partners at CleanBC.
